We are starting the day with a motherboard replacement for a customer. This motherboard was harder to source as its using an AM3+ AMD CPU socket and DDR3 RAM. This socket was the predecessor for the now-standard AMD AM4 Socket that’s used for the now favoured AMD Ryzen series of processors, used in conjunction with DDR4 RAM.
The motherboard we are fitting is a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 R2. This is using the AMD760G + SB710 Chipset and is a Micro ATX Form factor (mATX), with integrated ATI Radeon HD300 Graphics. This also features Dual Bios and Solid Capacitors help make it more reliable and longer-lasting.
